HOW TO USE FOR TEETH GAPS
I do not give medical advise - these are suggestions only.
You should start by wearing the bands for a maximum of 8-12 hours a day until gap is closed.
You may have to change to a smaller band as gap moves to keep the proper tension.
You then wear the bands overnight for 30 consecutive days to ensure movement is permanant.
If after 30 days you see any shifting of teeth you should start using the bands again or contact your Dentist about bonding or a retainer.
DO NOT add extra bands to teeth thinking they will move faster!
This is not a good idea as moving the teeth too fast could cause problems such as crooked teeth or damaged gums - slow is the answer!
REMEMBER: You are actually moving the teeth so some soreness is to be expected - just like with braces.
If bands break easily when applied - it is possible you are using a band size that is too small for your gap.
If bands "slip" up to gumline and are uncomfortable you might be starting with a band that is too small OR you may want to order the LATEX bands as they are not quite as slick.
These bands are CLEAR - Non-Latex bands so they appear clear on your teeth.
Manufactured from prime medical grade NON-latex, our Elastics are the highest quality elastic on the market. Special unique packaging process eliminates the heavy use of talc and partially cut elastics.
Other popular uses for orthodontic elastics include:
dog grooming elastics, doll hair elastics, cornrow rubber bands, small rubber bands for crafts,
model airplane rubber bands, small elastics for packaging purposes.
